This year, as in the past, we are offering Career Coaching for registered attendees of the 2023 Annual WACUBO Conference. Diane Fennig and Carina Celesia Moore will be hosting these sessions virtually before the conference and while on-site in Phoenix. Dr. Diane Fennig, Senior Consultant for Executive Search and Leadership Advisors, Gallagher

Diane Fennig is a passionate architect at the intersection of opportunities and talent.  Her career foundation has been in association with universities and higher education systems for over 25 years. Diane continues to be a curious student. Her experiences in search and talent development along with her connections are the foundation ingredients in Diane’s "secret sauce" for success. Her recipe also includes a serving of generosity, passion, grace, and gratitude.  Diane joined the Human Capital Group in 2009, which is now Gallagher Executive Search and Leadership Advisors.

 Diane’s commitment to education includes an earned Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Secondary Education from Marquette University, a Master of Science degree in College Student Personnel from Miami University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership/Organizational Behavior from the University of South Carolina. Diane has enjoyed Association Affiliations over the past decade with WACUBO, Forté Foundation, The YMCA, SHRM, and SHRM-Atlanta. She also serves as a guest blogger for the Society of Human Resource Management in the areas of recruitment, retention, and employee satisfaction.

Carina Celesia Moore, Retired, University of California

Carina Celesia Moore has been a Visiting Instructor at the University of the Pacific, (MA in Leadership: Organizational Innovation and Change) since 2018. She specializes in learning and development, leadership development, coaching, and has over 25 years of experience as an internal leader of talent and management development programs at the University of California (UC), Davis. As a rehired retiree, Carina co-facilitates the 2022-23 UC-CORO Systemwide Leadership Collaborative. Since 2004, she has served in many roles with the Western Association of College and University Business Officers (WACUBO) including Board member, conference speaker, Business Management Institute faculty, Mentoring Program Chair, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Chair. Carina holds credentials from International Coaching Federation (ACC – Associate Certified Coach), Human Resource Certification Institute (SPHR – Senior Professional in Human Resources), and Association for Talent Development (CPTD – Certified Professional in Talent Development). In 2018, she attended “d. School: Design Thinking – Teaching and Learning Studio,” at Stanford University.
