Alice Inoue is a Life Expert and the founder of Happiness U. She helps both companies and individuals develop positive mindsets in order to live more inspired in both their professional and private lives.

Born in San Francisco and raised in Taiwan from the age of eight, she entered the University of California as a pre-med student and earned a degree in Biology at the age of twenty. Rather than enter medical school at that time, Alice traveled to Japan to teach English. Already fluent in English and Mandarin, she added Japanese to her linguistic skills and cultural studies.

In an unexpected shift, she jumped into the world of media, first debuting as a live-daily TV show host, followed by years as a bilingual news anchor and host of her own weekly Japanese TV shows. During this time Alice also served as spokesperson for a multitude of companies.

Inspired by inner guidance and a long-standing interest in spirituality, Alice once again made a dramatic shift in her life path and became an ordained minister. Within months she began rigorous self-study, as well as intensive studies with respected masters of feng shui and astrology.

Since then she has advised thousands worldwide as an astrologer and “life guide.” She’s officiated close to 900 wedding ceremonies. She’s also offered her feng shui expertise to hundreds of homes and businesses in all parts of the world before retiring in 2013.

Over the years, she has made numerous appearances on radio and television and has been prominently featured by all major state publications. She’s appeared as an author expert on happiness on Lifetime Television’s highest-rated morning show “The Balancing Act.”

Her series of three feng shui instructional DVDs are based on her signature presentations; Feng Shui Demystified, Feng Shui Illuminated, and Office Feng Shui were co-produced with Oceanic Time Warner.

Formerly an award-winning columnist in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser she has also made an impact in Hawaii’s largest publication, MidWeek, with her column “A Mindful Moment” where she shares pertinent life wisdom.

She has published nine books – A Loving Guide to these Shifting Times (2008), Be Happy! It’s Your Choice (2009), Feng Shui Your Life! (2010), Just Ask Alice! (2011), Destination Happiness(2012), Mindful Moments (2016), More Mindful Moments (2017), Master Your Superpowers (2019), and The Best of Mindful Moments (2022). All of her books have won Indie Excellence Awards in the Mind, Body, and Spirit or Personal Growth categories. Her books guide readers towards empowerment and gaining a new perspective in their lives.

Jessica and Garrett Gee began the popular YouTube channel The Bucket List Family after planning to travel the world for five months with their two young children. Nine years and another kid later, they’ve visited more than 90 countries around the world, have grown a following of nearly 1.5 million YouTube subscribers and 3 million Instagram followers, and continue to find ways—big and small—to add to their lifelong travel bucket list.

The Bucket List Family has been named Travel Influencer of the Year two years in a row by the American Influencer Awards and nominated for a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award in 2023. After buying an 80-year-old bungalow in Hawaii, they have a permanent base for their three children—Dorothy, Manilla, and Calihan—for the first time in half a decade. But they continue to explore new destinations, from Alaska to Bali, as often as they can.
